Calendar and trading blocks
Read economic-calendar freshness, News Blackout settings, and displayed entry-block reasons.
The Economic Calendar and Session Context show schedule and market-session information. The calendar can also be configured to block new entries around selected events.
Read calendar status
Check the feed/update status, event time, and the displayed blackout state. SYNC means information is loading; Schedule stale means the calendar information may not be current. Wait for a current update or resolve the displayed issue before relying on event timing.
News Blackout
Blackout can pause new trades around calendar events selected by the current settings. Depending on configuration, the settings can include before/after windows, event impact or currency filters, whether manual trades are blocked too, and what to do when calendar data is stale.
If the app says Trading blocked, read the reason and event window. Do not change unrelated controls to get around the block. Changing blackout settings changes future entry conditions, so make those changes deliberately.
Time Engine
The Time Engine contains more detailed timing and session configuration. It can affect when an automated workflow is allowed to operate. It is not needed for the basic connect, account-selection, and manual-order workflow. See Advanced settings before changing profiles or timing rules.
